Full Bio
BETTER LATE is a genre-hopping band that never plays the same show twice—but every set is a joyful, dynamic ride. Founded in 2024, the group brings together four Boston-area musicians with wide-ranging tastes and deep roots in Americana, folk, blues, and rock. The result? A refreshingly eclectic sound and a repertoire packed with unexpected delights.
Whether you’re tapping your toes to rockabilly, singing along to the blues, or soaking in inventive originals that blur genre lines, one thing’s certain: you’ll never be bored. With a lineup that includes acoustic and electric guitars, upright and elecric basses, mandolin, saxophone, harmonicas, and percussion, BETTER LATE creates lush sonic textures and rich vocal harmonies that fill every room they play.
Their sets move fluidly between country, folk, blues, rock, jazz standards, and bluegrass—along with originals and deep-cut covers that defy easy classification. What ties it all together is the band’s infectious chemistry, love of music, and the sheer joy they bring to the stage across the Boston area.
